What’s been happening:

Most people in my major would go on to become a speech pathologist or an audiologist. I went on to become a therapeutic support staff where I would work one on one with children who have special needs. I would do the work to get a child to reach the goals other professionals set, especially in areas of language development. I'm currently doing the best and toughest job I ever had, which is being a full time mom to my sons. I do plan on working with children who have special needs again when my youngest goes into kindergarten. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary this fall and look to celebrate many more.
